Pour quels projets choisir le Résine SLA ?
Resin is mandatory whenever every detail counts: tabletop figurine, jewelry (ring, pendant), dental model, medical part, ultra-fine architectural element (1/100 staircase rail, ornament). 25-50 micron layers, smooth surface out of the box.
SLA also wins for perfect transparent parts: miniature headlight cover, optical lens, transparent container — with clear resin + post-processing (sanding + varnish), reaches window-glass finish. PETG or PC FDM never reach this level.
Functional resin gamut: tough (better impact resistance), flexible (semi-rubber), castable (burns ashless for jewelry casting), high-temp (200 °C post-cure). Choose by use case.

Limites du Résine SLA
Standard resin is brittle: don't use for functional parts under impact (clip, hinge, tensioned support). For mechanical, PETG or Nylon FDM remain better. Tough resins close part of the gap, at higher cost.
Heavier workflow than FDM: IPA wash 5-10 min, drying, UV post-cure 10-30 min. Without post-processing, part stays tacky and loses properties. IPA is flammable — handle with care.
Resins are skin irritants and potentially allergens (uncured resin). Nitrile gloves mandatory, ventilation. No standard resin is food-safe or skin-safe long-term without specific certification (medical / dental).

SLA: laser traces each layer point-by-point (slow but precise on edges). DLP: LCD/DMD screen projects whole layer at once (fast, complexity-independent). For one part, similar finish. Full plate: DLP much faster. Most consumer resin printers (Anycubic, Elegoo) are DLP/LCD.
